Post-Installation & Configuration

• After all packages are copied from the CD to the hard disk, it is time to finalize your settings
  • First, install a kernel by selecting the 'CDROM' option
    • If your computer uses IDE drives, select 'bare.i' from the list
    • Preparing a boot disk is very handy, but we will skip this in class
  • Other Configuration Options
    • No modem
    • Enable Hotplug (Supports USB, PCMCIA, etc.)
